The VIP treatment is our two-part session: a medium-pressure Swedish massage that takes the tension out of the neck, shoulders and back, followed by a full-body sea salt scrub that takes the week off your skin. It runs as one format only: the full two hours for AED 1,300, because the treatment needs room to do both halves properly. Bookable daily from 10 AM to 5 AM at U Spa in Al Barsha.

Why massage first, scrub second

The order is the design. The Swedish massage opens the session: long strokes and kneading at medium pressure, the kind that lets muscles soften gradually instead of being argued with. By the time the massage ends, circulation is up, the skin is warm, and the body has stopped keeping score of the week.

Then the sea salt scrub works over exactly that warmed, receptive skin. Salt exfoliates more decisively than sugar or fruit acids, lifting the dull surface layer and leaving the kind of clean that survives several showers. Done on cold skin it would just be abrasion; done after an hour of massage it finishes the reset the strokes started. You leave twice-processed: muscles unknotted, skin new.

Who the VIP suits

People who want a complete overhaul in one appointment rather than two separate bookings. Guests preparing for an event where both posture and skin will be photographed. Anyone whose answer to "massage or scrub?" is an honest both. If your idea of an upgrade is more hands rather than more stages, that's the four hands massage, and beyond it the six hands; the VIP is the depth upgrade, those are the width ones. For the steam-and-scrub tradition instead of the salt one, the Moroccan bath remains the classic answer.

FAQ

What is included in the U Spa VIP treatment?
A medium-pressure Swedish massage followed by a full-body sea salt scrub, in one continuous two-hour session.

How much does the VIP treatment cost?
AED 1,300 for the two-hour session, VAT included.

Why only the two-hour format?
Because half a massage plus half a scrub serves nobody. Two hours is the honest length for both halves done properly.

Is the salt scrub harsh on skin?
It's thorough but adjustable, and we skip irritated or sunburnt areas entirely. Mention sensitive skin when booking and the therapist calibrates.

VIP treatment or Moroccan bath?
Both end in remarkable skin. The VIP gets there through massage and salt on a dry table; the bath through steam, black soap and the kessa glove. Regulars alternate.
